Here's a quick manual you may refer to with sample demo to help you get started, whereas, some are self-explanatory, I just picked commonly used settings or features when painting to the best of my knowledge which you may explore in depth if needed. 😁

1. PLUS (+) BUTTON
  • New Canvas (recommended to start with pixels with 300 PPI)
  • You may create a folder to organize your artworks
  • Open an image/picture as canvas (size)
  • Import an hsd file

2. RENAME FOLDER/PROJECT
  • Tap on untitled/text to rename

3. MOVE PROJECT TO FOLDER//DUPLICATE/DELETE/SHARE/RESTORE
  • Long press on project, select move and choose designated folder
  • Long press on project and click Duplicate
  • Long press on project and click clear all (Delete)
  • Long press on project and click Share (hsd file)
  • Long press on project and click Restore archive

4. SETTINGS
  • Theme style (dark/light mode or system)
  • Recycle bin 
  • Advanced Features (subscription or purchased info)
  • Clean up (cache and playback)
  • Hardware acceleration
  • Remove brush ghosting
  • Languages
  • Share app with friends
  • About (version of app)
  • Immediate Feedback (questions and comments)

5. CHANGE BACKGROUND COLOR (Canvas)
  • Click "Layer" panel click background and pick a color to apply

6. BRUSH AND OPACITY SLIDER
  • Slide up and down to adjust brush size
  • Slide up and down to adjust brush opacity (opaque to transparent)
  • Change slider location from "Sketch settings" (Interface UI)

7. BRUSH SETTINGS
  • Click on brush to open settings
  • General (preview, flow, spacing, size, smoothness, intelligent detection, head and tail taper)
  • Shape (brush source/brush tip image, softness, roundness, angle, count, scatter, blending mode)
  • Texture (you may add your own texture images to add effect to your brush)
  • Dual brush (adding a second brush to blend with your main brush)
  • Pencil (adding some taper to your brush and adjusting flow)
  • Dynamics (for stroke jitter, color jitter and texture settings)
  • RESET brush changes with the small circle arrow from "brush preview"

8. CREATE NEW BRUSH/GROUP BRUSH
  • Click on brush panel
  • Click + to create group brush 
  • Click burger menu (3 dots) rename group brush
  • Click burger menu (3 dots) click new brush
  • Click burger menu (3 dots) share brush/group brush (this will be in hbr format)
  • You may copy from default brushes and paste to your group brush, delete brush/brush group 

9. ERASER TOOL
  • Click on eraser tool
  • Choose from any of the default brushes to be used as eraser
  • You may edit the brush settings like in #7

10. ADD NEW LAYERS
  • Click on Layer panel
  • Click + to add new layer
  • Click layer and rename (for your comfort when dealing with number of layers)
  • Slide to adjust layer opacity
  • Click Blending mode from list of selection (Multiply, Dissolve, Darken, Add, etc)

11. GROUP LAYERS & MOVE/ROTATE
  • Swipe Layer to the right to select (multiple layer selection)
  • Click folder + icon to group
  • Click group folder and rename (for your comfort when dealing with number of layers)
  • Click Wrench icon and select Transform tool to move/rotate
  • Click group folder to ungroup
  • Click a specific layer, click Transform tool to move/rotate

12. MAKE A LAYER AS REFERENCE
  • Highlight/select layer to be used as reference
  • Click layer and click Reference
  • Drag the white handlebar to move your reference (floating reference)
  • Click X to close reference

13. ALPHA LOCK vs CLIPPING MASK
  • Click + to add layer and click "Clipping Mask" (non-destructive layer)
  • Click layer and click Lock Transparent Pixels/Alpha lock (destructive)
  • Both methods have the same purpose except one is directly applied to the layer (destructive) as compared to a separate layer (non-destructive) 

14. REFERENCE LAYER + FILL
  • Click Layer and tap as Reference Layer
  • Click Fill tool and set Extended Edge with one shaded square (tap square) 
  • Go to your Color layer and apply fill (drag and drop or manual fill)
  • If you decide not to tap as Reference Layer then tap the "tolerance" in fill (right side) to change to multi-layer with the extended edge set to one shaded square

15. MERGE LAYERS (Non Destructive)
  • Click any Layer (either from top or bottom)
  • Click Merge icon
  • Multi select Layers, click the 1st Merge icon (it will hide original layers)
  • Multi select Layers, click the 2nd Merge icon (original layers will remain unhidden)
  • Merge Down & Merge All (Destructive merge)

16. LAYER COLOR CHANGE 
  • Click your color Layer (make it a habit to separate line art and color layers when starting)
  • Select a new color from Color Panel
  • Go to color layer and click "Layer color change" to apply new color

17. RE-ARRANGE LAYER
  • Long press the layer then drag to re-arrange

18. COLOR PANEL (FLOATING)
  • Tap color icon beside the layer panel
  • Click the horizontal bar (white) and drag to any convenient location
  • Choose from the color wheel, square, hex and palette of your choice

19. ADD NEW COLOR PALETTE (CARD)
  • Tap color icon beside the layer panel
  • Click the last row (grid box icon) and click + to add a new palette
  • Choose from the color wheel, and tap on each square 
  • Share, duplicate and delete options available
  • To import a palette must be in .clr format, click and share and choose HiPaint

20. LIGHT PAD (Aggregation Tools)
  • Tap + icon and scroll to light pad
  • Import from your device image you want to use as reference to "trace"
  • Image won't be seen in time lapse or playback
  • You may adjust opacity of image 
  • Tap eye icon beside image to delete if no longer needed

21. REFERENCE IMAGE-FLOATING WINDOW (Aggregation Tools)
  • Tap + icon and scroll to Reference
  • Import from your device image you want to use as reference
  • You may add grid to your reference as guide
  • You may import the reference as layer
  • Hide or close the reference window
