Windows have included MS Paint with all versions as a simple graphic editor
where we can edit some images that can be saved in various format.
With the latest Windows 11 system, the MS Paint classic that we used to love
with its simple UI and settings have gone an upgrade which somehow infuriate
some users 🤣, nonetheless, you can get used to it in the long run and not a
bad update at all.
Though, when compared to more advanced drawing/painting apps, MS Paint may not
have all the features you need yet still quite a good start to make some art
with its default brushes.
LAYERS
New features such as Layers added with this Paint version, yet it lacks the
functions to clip or mask layers but limited to merge and duplicate as its
main purpose.
PEN TABLET
To appreciate making some drawings or paintings, I recommend you get at least
a
pen tablet
to start with. It helps you have more control over the brush so you can
properly have better results compared to the use of a mouse.
BRUSHES
Built in brushes are just fine but will take some time for you to get
comfortable with but constant practice will surely get you there. 😆
Great challenge would include blending your colors to make it more appealing
to the eyes, but as long as you know how tonal values works then you should
manage.
TIP:
To adjust brush sizes aside from given selection simply press CTRL + + (in numpad) if you want to decrease after use the (-) minus sign instead of +
If no numppad in keyboard then use your onscreen keyboard.

SELECTION
Comes with Rectangle and Free form to select any parts of your drawing to adjust like re-scaling or move, rotate or flip as needed.
BEST FEATURE
Well, its totally FREE that comes within your Windows, aside being used as editor you can do some paintings as shown above.
So grab your pen tablet and start making some art in MS Paint for a change.
Enjoy! 😁
