Screen Capture Tool by SHAREX (open source)

You may wish to add to your list of programs this open-source screen capture by Sharex. Here's a quick guide on how to use and add the "paper-torn" effect with shadows to make it more unique from the usual rectangle or square screen capture we normally used with the "prt sc" button.

STEPS:

1. Download the exe file or the zip portable depending on your preference. (here)

2. Install and open Sharex

3. Look for Task settings to your right, click and open "Effects"

4. Click the "Image effects configuration" and add new under "presets" and name to paper-torn effect or name you wish to call it (sample shown is "torneffect")

5. Under "effects" click add button and go to filters to add both "shadow" and "torn edge"

6. Highlight each effect and change the values according to your own liking as it shows you the preview sample according to your changes.

7. Once you are ok with the changes you may start with your screen capture via window, region etc.
